Tailored psychotherapy & counselling services to support your healing journey.

I believe that every body has the innate power and ability to heal. And the secret to unlocking this power lies within the nervous system.

When we take the time to truly listen to our body and understand what it’s trying to tell us, remarkable things can happen.

I offer a nervous system-specific therapy approach that can help you reconnect with your body, identify key internal warning signs, and learn powerful coping mechanisms to move forward freely and confidently.

Ways to work with me

Regardless of your age, gender or background, I offer a range of tailored psychotherapeutic and counselling services to support you on your healing journey.

Psychotherapy & Counselling

Psychotherapy & Counselling

Life, unfortunately, can be packed with many unforeseen challenges, some of which leave us feeling understandably distressed and unable to cope. Psychotherapy is a confidential, private, safe space for you to explore and address these challenges and work towards meaningful change, growth and healing. Depending on your goals, treatment may be short or long-term and include several therapeutic techniques. In our 1:1 work together, I can help you move forward with individualised support, trusted tools, and a guided plan towards healing.

Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

Childhood & early adolescence can be a confusing and challenging time for many. Leaving treatment to “when we get older” can cause avoidable and unnecessary prolonged suffering and delay the path to healing. In this ever-changing, complicated world, many young people experience difficulties, such as low mood, anxiety or other mental health issues. They can often feel different from their friends and not know what to do to improve things. My evidence-based, child-friendly treatment focuses on developing new paths to empower your child to adapt to various situations and provide them with coping tools to approach their challenges with understanding and confidence.

Somatic Experiencing

The Somatic Experiencing method is a body-orientated approach geared towards helping people heal from trauma and other stress disorders. Created by Dr Peter Levine, this therapy works on the principle that trauma gets trapped in the body, leading to some of the symptoms felt by those with PTSD or who have experienced trauma. Through the Somatic Experiencing method, I can help individuals move past the place where they might feel “stuck” in processing a traumatic event and identify places of safety, whether that be a place in the body that is not activated by the trauma, or a physical place to retreat to in one’s mind. Together, we’ll source self-regulating tools to help you reconnect with your body, process your trauma and work on releasing associated stress from your body.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched and effective form of psychotherapy to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. It is based on the idea that symptoms occur when trauma and other negative or challenging experiences overwhelm the brain’s natural healing ability. During treatment, EMDR can help the individual reconnect, in a safe and measured way, to the images, emotions, body sensations and self-thoughts associated with the trauma and allow the natural healing powers of the brain to move toward adaptive resolution. EMDR therapy may be used within a standard talking therapy or as a treatment all by itself.

Workplace Mental Health Services

As employers continue to navigate the hybrid workforce and look for ways to combat burnout, stress and fatigue, managing and supporting mental health at work has become a top priority for companies worldwide. It’s no longer a nice to have but a must-have. In fact, approximately 8 in 10 employees will miss work due to mental health issues, highlighting the need for companies to act now. I offer a range of group workshops and corporate training in areas such as stress management and trauma to help protect your employee’s mental wellbeing, challenge mental health stigma in the workplace and affect sustained change for you and your team.

What to expect

Initial consultation

I understand how crucial it is to find a therapist that feels like a good fit, and that’s what our initial consultation is all about – getting to know one another. The first meeting is an informal session where I gather information and explain how I work, this is where we will learn how to best work together. We will get an in-depth understanding of your concerns, relevant history, and goals. Together, we will determine the right mix of therapeutic techniques and develop a tailored plan for moving forward.

Ongoing sessions

The course of therapy treatment can vary depending on the individual. When starting, I generally recommend weekly or biweekly sessions. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

Online & in-person appointments

I hold all in-person appointments at my space, “The Tower Healing Centre”, on Wexford Street, Dublin 2. Online appointments are delivered via Zoom. Pricing & process is the same for online & offline therapy.

Appointments are priced at €80 per session, regardless of the type of service. Reduced fees for third level students and those out of work are available. Both card & cash payments are accepted, and payment is taken at the end of each session. Please note late cancellation or missed appointment fees apply.
